Indoor 18m: 500 pts (indoor season is over, better only next year)
6º place in the Portuguese Beginners Recurve Championship with 1405 (sum of the best 3 scores - 500, 461, 444)
2º place in Beginners Recurve Teams Championship with my teammates Ricardo Dias and Paulo Santos

FITA 30m: 310 pts (practice)
FITA (50-50, 30-30): 1134 pts (22/06/2001) 2nd place individualy and 1st place by teams with Ricardo Vilas and Paulo Santos
FITA (30-30): 598 pts (20/05/2001) 1st Place indivivualy and 1st place per Teams in the Begginers category Recurve
FITA Field: National Champion in the Beginners Recurve Men category with 261 pts
This season has been a bit harder to work and still have the time to practice and participate in the events, but nevertheless the spirit is still alive and the will to improve is stronger.
The body and mind control is essential along with the concentration power for a good archer(i've been told).
Listening to experience archers is always a good advice.
And take your time . . .
With the objective of getting Portuguese Archery known, i hope to give you info over the portuguese top archers.

The World and European Bowhunting Championship has just finished this weekend, and 3 of the new world/european champions are from my club:
Maria João Ribeiro (Adult Female Freestyle Recurve), Carlos Resende (Adult Male Freestyle Recurve) and Henrique Jourdan (Veteran Male Freestyle Recurve). We also had a 4th place with Liliana Cardoso (Adult Female Freestyle Unlimited) and a 5th place Renato Jourdan (Veteran Male Freestyle Unlimited).
