I've got 2 homemade bow (not myself, but a friend of mine)
One's a Longbow 44# at 28@, the other one's a Recurve-Longbow (designed by computer) 55# at 28@. I prefer shooting with aluminium arrows, because they're easier to find (metaldetector), but I also shoot with wooden arrows. My flu-arrows are made of cabon. Mostly I shoot with fieldpoints, but when the wheater is bad I use blunts. They don't go under the ground.
I always carry a knive and a pair of tongs with me. (just in case... ;-))
I started archery 2 years ago, just for fun.
Now I'm a fanatic archer who shoots every minute she can.
I've got some good friends who train in the woods.
We like to go as much as possible.
