I began shooting, at just about anything, when Dad bought me my first bow, a fiberglass recurve, when I was about 12. A friend and I used to shoot at just about anything around his house. Later I bought a 45# fiberglass recurve, which I still have. I now target shoot with an Oneida hunting bow, using tab, at a target beside my house. I hope to get into Olympic target very soon. I would appreciate any help or advice with this quite amazing sport.
George Leonard's book, "Mastery," says Practice, Practice, Practice. Make time in a busy schedule. Relax, concentrate on each detail of the shot, and try and avoid distractions. Stay fit.
